Our insect screen systems protect your home from insects and dust without blocking the view or the natural light. Every screen is made of durable aluminium and fine, high quality mesh, and it is designed to work together with the existing aluminium frames of the opening.

Screen Types for Every Opening

  • Pleated screens: fold like a concertina, ideal for wide balcony doors with daily use.
  • Roller screens: retract into a discreet cassette and are perfect for standard windows.
  • Sliding screens: move on their own track and suit large sliding systems.
  • Hinged screens: the most robust option for kitchen and entrance doors with heavy traffic.

Materials, Colours and Installation

Frames are powder coated in the full RAL range, so the screen blends with the frame instead of standing out. Fibreglass, aluminium or pet-resistant mesh options are available depending on the use of the room. Installation is quick, requires no building works and can be carried out on existing frames.

Frequently Asked Questions About Insect Screens

Which screen type is best for a balcony door?

For openings used many times a day we usually recommend a pleated screen, because it folds compactly and does not need a large cassette. For very wide openings a sliding screen on its own track offers the smoothest operation.

How do I clean and maintain the mesh?

A damp sponge with mild soapy water twice a year is enough to remove dust from the mesh. Keeping the bottom guide free of sand and debris is equally important, as it keeps the movement smooth and prevents wear.

Can screens be fitted to existing windows?

Yes. In most cases the screen is mounted on the outer side of the existing frame with minimal drilling. Our technician measures the available depth on site and proposes the profile that fits without obstructing the sashes.

Do screens reduce airflow or visibility?

Modern meshes are extremely fine, so airflow and visibility remain almost unaffected. If you want maximum transparency, we can supply high-visibility mesh that is barely noticeable from inside the room.

Are screens suitable for homes with pets?

They are, provided you choose reinforced pet-resistant mesh. This type of fabric resists claws and pressure far better than standard fibreglass, which makes it ideal for households with cats or dogs.
